Codex reset tracker
This Codex reset tracker follows @thsottiaux’s public posts on X and records detected reset announcements with their source links. It currently contains 59 reset events, with an average gap of 6.7 days. Browse the archive without an account, inspect the interval statistics, or subscribe to available alerts. The same records and summary statistics are available through the free public API; collection is periodic, so updates can be delayed.
How the tracker works
The collector checks @thsottiaux’s X timeline on a schedule. Detected reset posts are classified as full or banked announcements and stored with their original source links. Ambiguous posts can require review. New records refresh the pages after ingestion.
Collection is not continuous streaming. Source outages, polling gaps, and review can delay a record; a quiet tracker does not establish that no new post exists.
Read the statistics
The count includes both full and banked events. The mean measures gaps between adjacent recorded events, and the longest wait measures the largest completed gap. The home page’s heatmap shows days with recorded events, not account renewals.
Get new reset announcements

- Browser push and team webhooks are not currently available. Use RSS or enabled email alerts for now.
Delivery follows periodic collection and may be delayed. Alerts report announcements; they cannot change your quota.
Keep the sources without refreshing X
The archive puts timestamps, reset types, and source links together so you can compare announcements over time. RSS and enabled email alerts help you follow newly collected posts. For automated tools, use the API and MCP documentation.
Questions about resets
Is this the official Codex reset tracker?
No. This is an independent archive of public announcements and is not affiliated with OpenAI. Each event links to its source so you can check the wording.
How quickly does the tracker update?
The collector checks posts on a schedule. New records refresh the site after collection; polling gaps, source availability, and review can delay updates. There is no guaranteed seconds-level delivery.
Can I use the reset data without an account?
Yes. The public JSON API, CSV download, RSS feed, and MCP endpoint do not require a tracker account. Email alerts require confirming your email address.
